| 内容記述 | Distribution of paralarvae of ommastrephidae was examined by bongo net and two kinds of larval nets in the eastern waters off Ogasawara Islands in 1990-1992. Rhynchoteuthion paralarvae of four species were identified as Ommastrephes bartrami, Eucleoteuthis luminosa, Nototodalus hawaiiensis and Ornithoteuthis volatilis. In the two major species, Omm. bartrami and E. luminosa, horizontal and vartical distribution patterns were different. Paralarvae of Omm. bartrami were mainly distributed at the surface in the eastern waters of the surveyed area, whereas E. luminosa paralarvae were found mainly in the sub-surface layer in the northern waters. | |||||||||||
