| 内容記述 | Growth and feeding behavior of the sea urchin, Strongylocentrotus nudus, were studied for 13 months in laboratry using a Laminaria diet. The sea urchin showed a typical seasonal growth pattern depending on the water temperature. In the high temperature season from June to October (W. T. 7-15˚C) it grew fast, but in the low temperature season from January to April (W. T. 4 -2˚C) little growth was observed. Similarly, the growth rate and feeding rate of the sea urchin showed seasonal variations. High values of growth rate and feeding rate was seen from June to August, while from January to April low values were recorded. In particular, the lowest values of the growth rate and feeding rate was observed in March (W. T. 2˚C). | |||||||||||
