| 内容記述 | Based on the records published from 1930 to 1998, this report contains the Host-Parasite and Parasite-Host lists for 15 species of parasites from 10 species of pinnipeds in Japan (7 species [Callorhinus ursinus, Eumetopias jubatus, Phoca vitulina stejnegeri, P. largha, P. hispida, P. fasciata, Erignathus barbatus] from Japanese waters and 3 species [Otaria flavescens, Zalophus californianus, Mirounga leonina] which were introduced from foreign countries and reared at zoos in Japan). The 15 species are distributed among higher taxa as follows: Trematoda-2 (Phocitrema fusiforme, Pricetrema zalophi); Cestoidea-2 (Diphyllobothrium pacificum, Diplogonoporus fasciatus); Nematoda-9 (Anisakis simplex, Anisakis physeteris, Contracaecum osculatum, Dirofilaria immitis, Dipetalonema odendhali, Dipetalonema spirocauda, Otostrongylus circumlitis, Parafilaroides gymnurus, Pseudoterranova decipiens); Acanthocephala-2 (Corynosoma strumosum, C. villosum); and Acarina-2 (Orthohalarachne attenuata, O. diminuata). Information on unidentified species of parasites is also given. The past research on the parasites of Japanese pinnipeds is briefly reviewed, and possible future work is suggested. | |||||||||||
