| 内容記述 | LESLIE's removal method, which is used to estimate the initial population size and the removal ratio simultaneously, is modeled in terms of the product of binomial distributions. The approximation of these binomial distributions to the standard normal distribution presents a new method which has no bias for estimators. This is an improvement over the maximum likelihood method and the likelihood ratio test, and is essentially equivalent to a standard goodness-of-fit test. The confidence region on the 2-dimensional plane defined by the initial population size and the removal ratio gives each confidence interval. This region is defined by the chi-square distribution with 2 degrees of freedom. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | LESLIE 法は初期資源尾数と除去率を同時に推定する方法であるが,二項分布の積としてモデル化される.この二項分布を標準正規分布に近似することにより,偏りのない推定方法が導かれる.この方法は最尤法および尤度比検定の改良であり,本質的には適合度検定と同一のものである.初期資源尾数と除去率の2次元平面に描いた信頼域よりそれぞれの信頼区間が求まる.この信頼域は自由度2のx2分布より決定される. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
