| 内容記述 | In selecting bivalve larvae from the plankton specimens sampled by a NORPAC net (NXX 13), pre-filtration by a GG54 net to exclude large plankton was found to be very effective. We usually use a subsample of the plankton specimens for estimating the total number of bivalve larvae. These counts are thought to follow the binomial distributions, (n/x) p ͯ qⁿ⁻ ͯ . We can estimate the confidence interval by the normal distributions, N (np, npq), on the x-n plane. | |||||
