| 内容記述 | Metamorphosis of Nauplii had been observed by many investigaters on several species respectively of every family of Capepoda except Candaciidae in Suborder Gymnoplea, Oncaeidae, Corycaeidae, Ergasillidae and Mormonillidae in Suborder Podoplea. Here the auther reported on the form of Nauplii of Oncaea mediterranea and Corycacus sp. These two species seemed to have strong natures of the pelager, especially in Coryeaeus Bothhave the pelagic type of appendages which is seen usually in Gymnoplea. So much developed form of the 1st Maxilla and Endopodite of the 2nd Antenna as has Oncaeamed. and that of the 1st Antenna of C'orycaeus sp. were such as supposed to be a peculiar form of Gymnoplea and never to be seen in Podoplea. But at the same time, they show the characters as Podoplea in the form of Labrum, furca and especially in masticatory process on the 1st segment of Endopodite of Mandible, where they show a very near relation to Cyclopidae. Corycaeus Nauplius were obtained by hatching the egg, but could not be reared up. Out of three stages of Oncaea Nauplii which are net-sampled, two were observed to be the 4th and 5 th stages, and the other one is determined to be the 3td, extrapolating the following equation: B=β eᵅˢ , where B is body length, S is stage-number, α and ß are constants. | |||||

| 内容記述 | Oncaea med.及び Corycaeus sp.の Nauplius は共に可成りの程度の Pelagic life を送るものと見られ,Corycaeusに於て特にそうである。共に附属肢の形態に於ても, Gymnoplea に見られる如き形質を有する。特に Oncaea med.の第1 Maxilla,第2 Antennaの内葉の発達,Corycaeus sp.の第1Antenna の形状等は Podoplea には見られず,Gymnoplea特有のものと考えられたものである。しかし又一方 Oncaea med.は Labrum,furca 特に Mandible 内葉第1節の歯等に於て Cyclopidaeと非常に近緣なることを示している。 | |||||
