| 内容記述 | Transport of salt by dispersion and dispersion coefficient between an intertidal flat and its surrounding water were estimated indirectly by salt balance on the flat and directly by continuous measurements of flow and salinity at the margin of the flat as a preliminary work for a study of circulation and budget of nutrients on the flat. Consequently, it was found that probable wind-driven fluctuation is mainly responsible for water exchange between the flat and the surrounding water, which was evaluated to be 5 × 10⁴ cm². sec⁻¹ as a dispersion coefficient. | |||||
