| 内容記述 | We previously operated 40 bottom set traps connected to 10000 m wire of R/V Soyo-maru as preliminary survey of Shioya-saki at 2500 m depth in Nov., 1981. In the present research carried out in May~ June, 1982 at 6200 m site B ; 30°N-147°E, we conducted 12 operations in the same way to collect large amounts of abyssobenthic specimens for radionuclide analysis. As a result, 17.9 kg of Coryphaenoides yaquinae, 0.55 kg of Eurythenes gryllus and 1.1 kg of Alicella gigantea could be collected. The effects of interval length, mesh size and set time of traps, and alluring substances on collection of the specimens were discussed. There were the tendencies that a good catch of amphipoda, not fish, was gotten at the longer interval and narrower mesh size of traps, and using ¹⁴⁷Pm for allurement. It might be characteristic in our operations that a portion of the wire, 40 traps and the iron sinker could make the research vessel stop by acting synthetically as anchors. The steps of procedure to set and draw the traps at 6200 m deep sea, and the essentials of handling the vessel could be standardized through 12 operations in our research. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 低レベル放射性固体廃棄物の海洋投棄処分のための事前の放射能バックグラウンド調査として,1982年5~6月に調査船蒼鷹丸を用いて,投棄候補水域B点(30°N,147°E)付近において核種分析用深海底生生物の採集が行なわれた。観測用10,000mステップトワイヤの先端に横口式かに篭40個を連結して合計12回の操業が行なわれ,ソコダラ類 Coryphaenoides yaquinae 17.7kg,ヨコエビ類の Eurythenes gryllus と Alicella gigantea 1.7kgなど分析試料として充分量が得られた。幹縄への篭網の取り付け間隔,網地の目合,誘引物質,設置時間の4要因を種々変化させて,生物採集量に及ぼす効果を調べた。その結果,これらの要因はソコダラ類に対しては影響を及ぼさなかったが,ヨコエビ類に対しては長い取り付け間隔,小さな網地目合,誘引物質として発光体 ¹⁴⁷Pmが効果あるという傾向が認められた。これまでの試験操業を経て、本調査において本格的操業に到達したワイヤ係留式深海篭網漁法は,調査船から繰出したワイヤの着底部分,篭網40個,鉄錘が全体として把駐力のある深海錨として作用するという特徴ある方法であり,本調査での12回の操業を経て、標準的な篭網投入,収揚の作業手順,および操船要領を確立することができた。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||
