| 内容記述 | Fine distributions of nutrient materials were observed in March 1983 in the sea around the Kuroshio front off Cape Shionomisaki, Japan. Samples were obtained at 105 stations with intervals of about 540 meters distance. Nutrient materials analysed were phosphate (PO₄-P), particulate phosphate (PP), silicate (SiO₂-Si) and suspended substance (SS). The concentrations of PO₄-P and SiO₂-Si were high in the coastal region of the front and the ratio of SiO2-Si to PO,-P decreased from coast to offshore. The concentrations of PP did not change so much but the content of PP in SS was low in he coastal regions as the concentration of SS was high in this region. The region investigated was divided into five from I (coastal) to V(offshore-Kuroshio); I, coastal water; II, warm water; III, cold water (may be upwell region); IV, the front; V, Kuroshio. The productivity of each region and the correlation among them were reasonably explained assuming a frontal eddy. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 1983年3月に潮岬沖の黒潮前線付近において栄養物質の徴細分布の調査を行った。試料は,約540m間隔で105の点で採取した。栄養物質として,リン酸塩(PO₄-P),懸濁態リン(PP),珪酸塩(SiO₂-Si)および懸濁態物質(SS)の分析を行った。PO₄-P と SiO₂-Si 濃度は前線の沿岸側で高く,また PO₄-P/SiO₂-Si は沿岸から沖合にむかって減少した。PP 濃度は変化が小さいが,SS 濃度が沿岸側で高いので,SS中PP の含量は沿岸側で低い。調査海域を5つに区分した。すなわち,Ⅰは沿岸水域,Ⅱは暖水域,Ⅲは冷水域, Ⅳは前線,Vは黒潮水域である。これらの海域の低次生産性について検討を加えるとともに,海域の相互関係は frontal eddy を仮定することによって合理的に説明できることを示した。 | |||||
