| 内容記述 | The raw material of a Japanese tangle(Naga-konbu, Laminaria angustata var. longissima)was sun-dried for a short time and then freeze-dried, and the prepared material was added to a basal diet to be used in a feeding trial at a rate of 1:10. Rats were fed the basal diet at the beginning and the diet with the added tangle at the late period(24 days). The apparent digestibilities of the ingredients in the tangle determined indirectly were: 79.5, 39.4, 77.6, 94.6, and 79.5% for crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, ash, and carbohydrate, respectively. The body weight gain during the late period was larger than that in rats pair-fed the basal diet with additive purified ingredients corresponding to the composition of the tangle. On the other hand, any presumable hypocholesteralemic effect of the material in a cholesterol containing diet, by reason of its abundance of dietary fibers, on the plasma cholesterol level in rats was not exhibited. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 生鮮コンブ(ナガコンブ,Laminaria angustata var.longissima)を凍結乾燥して供試料とした。ラットを,初めカゼイン,大豆油を含む基本餌料で,その後基本餌料100部にコンブ試料10部を添加した餌料で飼育することにより,間接的にコンブの消化率を測定した。コンブのたん白質,脂質,粗織維,灰分,糖質はそれぞれ79.5,39.4,77.6,94.6,79.5%の消化率を示した。次にラットをカゼイン,ラードと共にコンプ10%,コレステロール0.5%,胆汁酸塩0.1%を含む餌料で飼育し,コンブ成分による血中コレステロール低下の有無を調べたが,その効果は認められなかった。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||
