| 内容記述 | Studies on the requirement for vitamin E had been carried out with the fingerling of carp and chinook salmon based on growth, pathological observation and mortality. Vitamin E has also been studied for land animals with regard to their reproduction cycles, however, investigations of the role of vitamin E in the fish reproduction have been very scanty. In present study, using "ayu" fish Plecoglossus altivelis, these authors investigated the effects of dietary vitamin E on the distribution of vitamin E in the fish body, their spawning behavior, the hatchabilities of their eggs and the mortalities of the frys obtained from them. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1) There were little differences in the growth, feed efficiency and mortality of fish fed on the diet containing 1 mg to 239 mg of vitamin E per 100 g. 2) The lipid and vitamin A content in fish were not influenced by vitamin E level of diet. 3) In many parts of the fish from each experimental group, the relationship between logarithm vitamin E content in fish and logarithm dietary vitamin E was apparently linear. However, the vitamin E level in the liver of the female was entirely different, being almost independent of dietary vitamin E. 4) The duration of the spawning behavior was different from group to group. In the group fed with the lowest vitamin E-diet, one third of total female remained unspawned until the end of October, while fish of the other groups had finished spawning. 5) The survival in eyeing stage of the fertilized eggs obtained from fish fed on the lowest vitamin E-diet was the lowest with 46.6%. The hatchability in thier group was also lower than the others, and then the mortality estimated immediately after hatching was 57.4% which was nearly two times as high as that of the others. 6) These data indicate that vitamin E fed abundantly to the parental fish was inherited to their eggs which helps survival of the young greatly. Under these experimental conditions, the requirement of vitamin E was estimated to be 3.4 mg per 100 g of diet for the parental fish. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | アュについて飼料のビタミンEレベルが魚の成長,産卵,卵質およびビタミンEの蓄積におよぼす影響について検討し,つぎの結果が得られた。1. 飼料100gあたりビタミンEが1mgから約240mgの範囲では,魚の成長,へい死率および飼料効率などは変らない。2. 低ビタミンE飼料で飼育されたアュには産卵しない個体が多く,正常に産卵した魚は全体の約3分の2であった。また,このアュから得られた受精卵の発眼率,ふ化率は低く,ふ化仔魚も弱い。3. ビタミンEの投与量を変えても体脂の蓄積に何ら影響をおよぼさない。4. 魚体のビタミンA含量は飼料のビタミンE量の影響をうけずほぼ一定である。5. 飼料のビタミンEの増加に伴い,魚体各部のビタミンE蓄積量は増加した。ただし,雌の肝臓ではあまり変化しなかった。6. 飼料および魚体各部のビタミンE含量のそれぞれの対数の間には,一部を除いてほぼ直線関係が成立つ。7. 肝臓および生殖巣のビタミンE量は性により異なり,肝臓では雄が,生殖巣では雌がそれぞれ高い。8. ビタミンEの体内分布は,ビタミンAやDと異なり特定の部分に局在することはない。9. アユのビタミンE要求量は,今回の実験条件下では,成長や飼料効率に基づいて求めれば飼料100gあたり1mg,親魚養成のためには3.4mgである。 | |||||||||||
