| 内容記述 | The hourly feeding rate of experimental populations of the abalone, Haliotis discus hannai fed on Eisenia bicyclis was measured at three temperatures and the following results were obtained. 1. Feeding of the population shows clear diurnal periodicity takes place from dusk to midnight at constant speed. 2. The duration of intensive feeding and the hourly feeding rate at the period increases with higher temperature. Continuous feeding times and rates are about 6, 8 and 10 hours and 0.07, 0.15 and 0.21 g per individual per hour under 12.5, 17.2 and 22.7˚C temperature, respectively. 3. The feeding amount of the population is seemingly regulated by both speed and duration at night dependent on temperature. | |||||||

| 内容記述 | ェゾァワビ Haliotis discus hannai INO の実験個体群(15個体,実験当初の平均体重 13.5g,体重の合計約200g)に餌料としてアラメ Eisenia bicyclis を投与し,十分に餌料がある状態で,3段階の温度条件(22.7,17.2,12.5℃)の下で,摂食速度を測定し以下の知見を得た。1. エゾアワビ実験個体群の摂食行動はタ刻から夜半にわたって,等速度で行なわれる明瞭な単相型の活動型を示す。2. 摂食の時間は相対的に高水温で長く,低水温で短かい傾向にある。水温22.7,17.2,12.5℃における摂食時間はそれぞれ約10,8,6時間であった。3. 摂食速度は高水温下ほど大きくなる。摂食が行なわれていた時間帯における摂食速度は水温 22,7,17.2,12.5℃において,それぞれ0.21,0.15,0.07g/個·時であった。4. 実験個体群の摂食量は摂食速度と授食時間の双方で調節されているものと考えられる。 | |||||||
