| 内容記述 | Regeneration process of an Eisenia bicyclis population was studied by monitoring the age composition of two populations delimited by two permanent quadrats off the coast of the Oshika peninsula in northeastern Honshu, from January 1987 to June 1989. The rate of recruitment was low in the population where there was a high adult density, i.e. in excess of 10 plants/m2 but it was conspicuously high in the population where there was a low adult density, i.e. less than 5 plants/m2. The newly germinated plants in the low adult density population grew into the succeeding generation of the population. It took five to six years before adult density again decreased to a level below 5 plants/m2. The regeneration cycle of the population, therefore, found to be five to six years. | |||||||

| 内容記述 | 牡鹿半島泊浜沿岸のアラメ群落内の成体密度が異なる2ヵ所に永久方形枠を設置して各年級群密度の変化を1987年11月から1989年6月まで約3年間観察し,群落の更新過程を考察した,成体密度が10個体/m2以上では後継群はあまり形成されないが,5個体未満では顕著に形成された.成体密度が5個体以下に低下し,新たに後継群が形成するまでには5~6年を要することがわかった. | |||||||
