内容記述 | Duration of developmental capability of eggs remained in the ovarian cavity after ovulation was examined in the common carp, Cyprinus carpio, to find the most suitable period for artificial fertilization. Ovulation was induced in fifteen sexually matured females by stocking with matured males in spawning ponds. Females begun to ovulate were collected from spawning ponds and kept in aquaria where water temperature was controlled to 20, 25 and 30°C. Durations of ovulation were individually examined in six females. More than 90 per cent of total matured eggs ovulated within about one hour after onset of ovulation. In the rest of females, eggs were artificially stripped and fertilized at two hour intervals after ovulation completed. Percentage of eggs reached to eyed stage, hatchability and deformed fry developed from those eggs were examined. More than 80 per cent of eggs obtained just after completion of ovulation and two hours after complete ovulation developed to eyed stage and there was no significant differences in hatchability between those eggs even though females were kept at the different water temperatures. However, percentage of eggs reached to eyed stage and hatchability of eggs obtained at more than four hours after ovulation markedly decreased and many deformed fry were obtained from these eggs. Based on these results, carp eggs should be fertilized within about two hours after completion of ovulation. | |||||||

内容記述 | (1) コイ卵の排卵後における採卵適期を明らかにするために,親魚を20,25,30℃の水槽に収容し,排卵完了後経時的に搾出した卵の発眼率,ふ化率,ふ化稚魚の奇形率を調査した。(2) いずれの水温区においても,排卵が起きるとほとんど同時に人工的に放卵させることが可能であり,各個体の卵巣において,排卵が開始されてから,60分以内に全排卵数の約90%の卵が排卵した。(3)ほとんどの水温区において,排卵完了時に得た卵と完了後2時間を経過して得た卵との間に,発眼率やふ化率に有意差は見られなかったが,4時間以後に得た卵では,それらの急激な低下がみられた。(4) 上述の発眼率やふ化率の低下は,水温の高い区ほど急激であった。(5) 排卵完了後4時間以上経過して得た卵からふ化した稚魚群では,奇形率の顕著な増大がみられた。 | |||||||
