| 内容記述 | This paper analyzed the effect of water movement on the dispersion of drifting seeds and also studied flow control methods by artificial constructions to improve residual rate of drifting seeds or larvae in their native grounds. First, we made field observations of water movement and distribution of Sargassum propagules, and proposed a model to predict the distribution of settled propagules. Second, we studied on two types of flow and dispersion control methods. One was current shadow (wake) induced by flow behind the construction. The other was wave induced circulation around offshore submerged dykes and breakwaters. We proposed a simple model estimating the material exchange between mainflow and current shadow, and presented a semi-empirical formula that predicts the parameter (transfer rate) of this model. The wave induced circulation was produced when wave was broken on the submerged dyke, and in the circulation residual rate of material was improved. | |||||||
