| 内容記述 | This paper deals with the effect of thiourea, SC(NH2)2, on the pigmentation of flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) larvae during metamorphosis. Treatment with 30 ppm thiourea increased the incidence of both the fish with albinism of eye-side trunk and appearance of those with abnormal heavy pigmentation of non eye-side trunk. The phenomena may be caused by the inhibiting effects of thiourea on the tyrosinase activity and/or the thyroid function. | |||||||||
