| 内容記述 | Halfbeak (Hyporhamphus sajori) fishery in Japan is operated mainly by pair trawl using small fishing boats less than 5 ton. However, it has problems with much consumption of fuel, much labor, and less freedom in operation due to pair trawl compared with one boat operation. Therefore we attempted to develop one boat operation system for the halfbeak fishery using the new towing method to veer away from the ship’s path. Experimental operation was made by the research vessel to investigate the basic style of the fishing gear. Then prototype fishing gear was made to be towed by small commercial fishing boat and we confirmed it could be stably towed. Though one boat operation system has been in progress, we introduce our approach to the new fishing method in this paper. | |||||||||||
