| 内容記述 | Field measurement of flow and ecological research on gathering fish were conducted at two artificial reefs, one place off Tateyama in Chiba prefecture and another off Mera in Shizuoka prefecture, in Japan. The observation period was from 16 to 19 October '84 off Tateyama and from 17 to 20 December '84 off Mera. Current meters were moored at 3 layers at 3 points i. e. on the reef, near the reef and far from the reef off Tateyama, and at 1 point near the reef off Mera. At the same time, distribution of fish was observed with automatic televisions, scuber diving and a fish sonar. Through the measurement of flow, it was clarified that time variation of temperature was most remarkable near the bottom and flow direction near the bottom was influenced by the roughness of the reef. With respect to gathering fishes, thirty five species were observed with television and scuba diving both at the reef off Tateyama at the reef off Mera. Dominant species were Parapristipoma trilineatum, Scombrops boops, Apogon semili -neatus and Decapterus sp, and their appearance seemed to have some relation with the flow direction to the reef. | |||||||||||||
