| 内容記述 | A floating breakwater has been under construction at MINAMIURA in MIYAZAKI prefecture since 1982. A field survey of the floating breakwater has been made since 1985 for the purpose of improving the accuracy of design methods of floating breakwaters. The survey items included: conditions of incident wave and transmitted wave, wave pressure distribution on the front wall, wave direction and mooring tension. The field data were compared with results of the model test and the numerical simulation which were made at the time of designing the floating breakwater. The Outlines of the results of the field survey are as follows: (1) Relations between the damping effect of floating breakwater and the steepness, as well as the relations between the damping effect of floating breakwater and the ratio of wave length to width of the floating breakwater have been clarified. (2) Relations between the non-dimensional wave drifting force and the ratio of wave length to width of the floating breakwater, as well as the relations between the nondimensional variable tension and the ratio of wave length to width of the floating breakwater have been clarified. (3) Spectrum properties of the incident wave, the transmitted wave, the transfer function of wave height in irregular waves and the mooring tension have been clarified. | |||||||||
