| 内容記述 | Four hours interval plankton samplings were made with MTD nets by simultaneous horizontal tows at a site of the central area of the Yellow Sea. Thermocline was well-developed at the depth of 30-50 meters. Diel pattern of vertical distribution of Calanus sinicus instars older than copepodite stage III was observed. Stages III and IV showed no day-night difference. The center of the distribution coincided with well-developed thermocline. Stage V and adult male were distributed below the thermocline at daytime and showed nocturnal upward migration into the center of thermocline. Adult female occurred scarecely during the day through vertical column, but was concentrated at the layer above the thermocline at night. It is suggested that the diel vertical migration is related to circadian rhythm of feeding in close association with the phytoplankton rich layer | |||||

| 内容記述 | かいあし類 Calanus sinicus(平均体長およそ2.7mm)は,海洋動物プランクトンのなかで生物量としてしばしば大きな部分を占めることから,海の生物経済の上で重要視されている.しかし,その地理的,鉛直的分布量およびその時間的な変化の知見は極めて少なく,日周の鉛直移動については,瀬戸内海における観察の1例があるにすぎない.1987年10月黄海中央部の1定点において4時間おきに MTD ネットの各層同時水平採集によって得られたプランクトン標本から Calanus sinicus の日周鉛直移動を発達した躍層との関連において考察した.温度と塩分の躍層はともに30-50mにあった(それぞれ19.4-9.7℃,31.6-33.4).コペポダイト第2期(CⅡ)未満の個体は採集されなかった.CⅢとCⅣは昼夜の移動を行なうことなく,20-50m層に分布した.CV と雄の CⅥ(成体)は昼間に50m以深に多く,夜間は40mを中心とする層に集中していた.雌のCⅥ は昼問には採集量が全層にわたって少なく,明らかなピークは認められなかったが,夜問には多量に採集され,最大は20m層にみられた.このように若齢期個体が終日,そして,夜間に活発な摂餌をするとされている高齢期個体が夜間に躍層の中心またはその直上層に集中的に出現したことは,黄海における躍層がクロロフィル量の最も多い層と一致しているとみられることから,本種の鉛直移動が摂餌活動と密接に関連していることを示唆するものである. | |||||
