| 内容記述 | Age and growth of the East China Sea lizard fish, Saurida wanieso, were examined by the scale-method, based on a total of 2,901 fish collected during the periofrom May, 1976 to April, 1977 : The age mark on scale was definable with the "cutting-across" type of ridges. The ridge formation in basal part of the covered portion of scale was noted in the scale reading. The standard mark sizes (r̄ₙ) were estimated from the relationship between the fork length (L) and the representative mark size (r̂ₙ) of the fish sampled monthly. The periodicity of mark formation was indicated with Walford's plot. The trend of monthly change in the marginal growth index, (R̂ - r̂ₙ) / (r̂ₙ - r̂ₙ₋₁) suggested that the principal mark forming period extends from September to January. Growth of the lizard fish was expressed by the following equations, Lt=664.9 (1 - e⁻⁰·²⁸⁰ ᵗ ⁻⁰·⁰⁵⁰) for females, and Lt=436.2 (l - e⁻⁰·³⁹² ᵗ ⁻⁰·⁰⁹⁴) for males, where, t is age in year. Males older than 4 years of age could be hardly found among commercial catches. The relationship between fork length (L, mm) and body weight (W, g) was expressed as follows, W=2.642L³·³⁷²·10⁻³ for months, January to April, W=4.058L³·²¹⁶·10⁻³ for months, May to July and W=4.316L³·²³²·10⁻³ for months, August to December. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 東シナ海産ワニエンについて鱗による年齢査定を行い,成長を推定した.1) 降起線の「切断」によって形成される標示を年齢標示として規定した.標示の特徴としては,鱗の露出部と被覆部の境界部における降起線の形成状況を重視した.2) 鱗径(R)と標示径(r̂)の関係に基づいて,標示群別に各標示径の代表値(r̂n)を推定した.3) 体長(L)と標示径(r̂)の関係に基づいて,各標示の標準的な標示径(r̄n)及び標示形成時の体長(ln)を推定した.4) 標示形成時の体長について定差図による検討を行い,標示形成の等時性を確めた.5)縁辺成長指数(R̂ - r̂ₙ) / (r̂ₙ - r̂ₙ₋₁) の月別変化に基づき,9月~翌年1月が標示形成期であろうと推定した.6) 本種の成長を雌雄別に求めた.また,体長と体重の関係を季節別に求めた. | |||||
