内容記述 | Process of maturation of ovarian ova, time and duration of the spawning, and some other aspects of the spawning of the red sea bream were studied. The materials used were caught by chartered commercial fishing boats from March to May, 1975 in the waters around Iki Island and Mishima Island, both in the western part of the Japan Sea. In Iki area, 115 male and 163 female fish were caught while in Mishima area 100 male and 104 female fish were caught. The results were sum- marized as follows. 1) Through visual observations, ovaries were classified into four stages according to the degree of maturation. In addition to it, histological observations were made on the ovaries of each stage to supplement the classification and to determine the process of maturation of ova more precisely. The classifications of stages and definitions for these are as follows; Stage A. Ovaries without ovum which is externally visible. Most of the ovarian ova are in "Peripheral nucleus stage" and only a small portion is in early "yolk globule stage". Stage B. Ovaries with ova which are externally visible. The ova in early "yolk globule stage" is the first to be seen from the outside, and the most advanced within this category are ova in "migrating nucleus stage". Stage C. Ovaries with transparent and externally visible ova. Although ovaries in this stage contain ova of "prematuration" and "maturation" stages, these comparatively matured ova are not yet free from the ovary wall. Stage D. Ovaries with fully matured ova which are free and concentrated near the oviduct opening indicating that the fish was spawning. In the ovary in this category, ova of every maturation stage either immature and matured are to be seen, but the proportion of immature ova is very small. 2) Basing on the proportion of ovaries of respective category mentioned above, the time of spawning in the study area were determined as follows; In Iki area, small portion of the fish started spawning at about the end of March and the peak of the spawning was in the middle of April to early May. The spawning continued until the end of May, although not in a great intensity. At Senzaki-Yokoguri in Mishima area, the spawning took place in late April or later. At Hachirigase in Mishima area, spawning took place from middle April and the peak was in early and middle May, to be continued until the end of June. The difference in the time of the onset of the spawning in Iki and Mishima areas was considered to be relevant to the water temperature which was lower by 1°C in the latter area. It is probable that the onset of spawning may fluctuate year to year according to the water temperature in the season. 3) The number of ovarian ova of "yolk vesicle stage" and the more advancedstages was determined, i. e., 800 thousand to one million in the fish of 300mm TL, 2.5 to 2.7 million in the fish of 400mm, 6 million in the fish of 500mm. The ova which remained unspawned at the end of spawning season to be absorbed later, were estimated to be 70,000 to 150,000 in the fish of 300 to 400mm TL. | |||||

内容記述 | 1975年3月から5月に,壱岐沖合および見島沖合においてマダイの産卵調査を行った.1. 内眼による卵果表面からの熟度観察および熟度指数,組織学的観察を併用して各産卵場の産卵開始期,盛期,産卵期間等の推定を行った.壱岐沖:3月末に部分的に産卵が開始され,4月中旬以降5月上旬にかけて産卵盛期があり,以後5月末頃まで続くものと考えられる.見島沖:仙崎横ぐりの産卵開始は 4月上旬以降で,壱岐沖より10日から半月程度遅く始まるものとみられる.八里ヶ瀬の産卵開始は4月中旬頃に始まり,5月上旬~中旬またはそれよりやや遅い時期にかけて盛期を迎えるが産卵はその後6月の遅い時期まで続くものと思われる.壱岐沖と見島沖の産卵期のずれは両海域の産卵開始時期の1~2℃の水温差によるものと思われ,水温の年変動が両海域の産卵期に多少の変化を及ぼすものと考えられる.2. 卵黄胞期以上の発育段階にある卵巣卵は全長300mmで80~100万,400mmで250~270万,500mmで600万粒であった.産卵終了期における卵巣内の残卵は全長300mm台の個体で普通7万~15万粒であったが,時には298mmの個体で50万粒数えられた例もあった. 3. 油谷湾に来遊するマダイ稚仔の全長から逆算した発生日からの経過日数と産卵期間またはその盛期との一致,および流況との関連を総合すると,壱岐沖合起源のマダイが油谷湾に輸送される可能性が大きい. | |||||
