| 内容記述 | We explained a method of designing and manufacturing JET (Jellyfish Excluder for Towed fishing gear), developed to avoid bycatch of bloomed jellyfish Nemopilema nomurai, by showing a case of designing process for an otter trawl fishing gear in Niigata prefecture. Through the explanation, technical points taken into account to adjust other towed fishing gears and useful know-how are presented. Finally, future scientific/technical problems to be solved to establish technical counter measure for reducing jellyfish bycatch are discussed. | |||||||||||
