| 内容記述 | Zooplankton biomass data in the Oyashio water region (T100≦5˚C), which was divided into the three areas (Fig.1.), during the period from 1951 to 1985 were analyzed. It was characteristic of seasonal variation in AREA II that biomass decreased temporarily in late June after a peak in May, and increased in July. According to the monthly variations with latitude, the biomass begun to increase at the eastern sea area off Hokkaido in April, increased in the whole area in May. The biomass increased continuously in the northern area and decreased from the southern area in summer, however, it was distributed evenly low in autumn. The high values of biomass above 250 mg/m3 frequently occurred in July and August in AREA I , from May to July in AREA II , and in June and July in AREA III. Mean biomass in the summer tended to fluctuate at about ten years' interval with low level until early 1960's and after 1980, and with high level from middle 1960's to late 1970's. | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 親潮水域(T100 5℃以下を示す水域)をAREA I,AREA II及びAREA Ⅲの3水域に区分して (図1),これらの水域における1951年から1985年の35年間の動物プランクトン生物量を解析した結果,以下のことが明らかになった.AREA IIにおける季節変化では,5月に最大となった生物量が6月に一端減少して7月に再び増加するという特徴があった.緯度別分布の季節変化では,生物量の増加は4月に道東近海で始まり,5月になると三陸から道東の広範囲な海域で生物量が多くなり,夏季には北の海域では引き続き生物量が増大するが,南の海域では生物量の減少が著しかった.9月になると全域において減少した.AREA IIでは5月から7月,AREA Iでは7月と8月及びAREA Ⅲでは6月と7月において,250mg/m3以上の生物量の出現頻度が比較的高かった.また,AREA IIにおける各月の生物量の頻度分布は3月に指数的減衰型,9月及び10月に強い非対称左傾型,5月に最も弱い非対称左傾型を示した.夏季の平均生物量は1960年代半ばから1970年代後半にかけて平年より多く,1960年代前半までと1980年代は平年より少ない傾向にあり,生物量の経年変動に10数年程度の変動周期があった.また,夏季の平均生物量と平均表面水温には有意な負の相関関係があり,表面水温の変化が生物量の経年変動や季節変化に影響を及ぼすものと推察した. |
