| 内容記述 | The secretion of vitellogenin (Vg) in kuruma prawn, Penaeus japonicus, by thoracic ganglion was investigated under tank culture conditions. A significant (P<0.05) increase in Vg concentration in the sera was observed for 48 h in early vitellogenic prawns injected with thoracic ganglion extracts prepared from vitellogenic females compared to those with abdominal ganglion extract and saline. This result indicates that Vg synthesis and/or release into the haemolymph can be induced by injection of thoracic ganglion extract prepared from vitellogenic females. Vg synthesis and/or release into haemolymph may be induced by a gonad-stimulating hormone (GSH), secreted by the thoracic ganglion of maturing females in prawns. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | クルマエビにおけるビテロゲニンの分泌に及ぼす胸部神経節の影響を調べた。その結果,発達した卵巣を持つ雌エビの胸部神経節抽出液を投与した卵黄形成中のクルマエビの血清中のビテロゲニンは48時間に7.92μg/μl 増加した。これに比べ,腹部神経節あるいは生理食塩水を投与したグループは,それぞれ4.12μg/μl,3.68μg/μl しか増加せず,胸部神経節投与グループとの間に血清中のビテロゲニンの増加に統計上の有意差(P<0.05)が認められた。この結果,クルマエビのビテロゲニンの合成と血リンパ中への放出は,発達した卵巣を持つ雌エビの胸部神経節抽出液を投与することによって促進できることが明らかになった。エビにおいては,胸部神経節はビテロゲニンの合成や血リンパ中への放出を誘発する性腺刺激ホルモンを分泌していることが示唆された。 | |||||||||||
